It is difficult for us to believe we have been away from Lyon for 18-months now. It is good to be back home but there are many things we miss about France as well.
We wanted to share with you an honor that E. has received. He was nominated to attend a special educational program for intellectually gifted students. It will be held at a university in the state of Georgia during the summer of 2011. He was nominated due to his proficiency with the French language. He has passed all the testing requirements and an initial interview...which was conducted entirely in the French language. He has a second-round of interviews on February 5. If selected, it is considered a tremendous honor.
We believe it is due to your teaching and support that E. was nominated for such an honor. He has adopted your love of languages and is also studying the German language at school and is attempting to learn the Italian language through self-teaching. For this, we thank you.

Also...K. has started a travel consulting business. If you ever require assistance with planning a holiday excursion...perhaps K. could be of assistance. Maybe a nice Mediterranean cruise would be fun.
